Oil has been produced to date from South and North area.
Camar Area
Located 60 kilometers north of Madura with a water depth of 60 meters. This area contains the Camar oilfield and near-field exploration opportunities.
Camar production at Camar South (CPP) was restarted in February 2024. Later in 2024, two new wells will be drilled at Camar North (MPA) and a new pipeline installed to connect them to the CPP. By year end 2024, Camar area's production is expected to exceed 2,000 BOPD.
Tuban Area
The Tuban Area of Bawean lies between the onshore East Java oilfields and the offshore oilfields of the Pangkah Area. Despite this excellent location, only 2 prior wells have been drilled, and there's only limited 2D seismic data available.
Prima Energy will acquire 3D seismic data over the Branjangan and Walet Prospects. This new data will allow for a detailed assessment of these prospects and lead the way to future drilling.
